Mocha Raspberry is at risk due to behavioral concerns. Mocha Raspberry has begun showing signs of kennel stress and deterioration. This behavior has been observed in an increased level of kennel reactivity around dogs, including charging, barking, spinning, and jumping at kennel walls. Recently, she reacted toward dogs in nearby crates and redirected onto the handler's leg, causing bruising and a hole in the handler's pants. With the handler, she is noted to be social, leaning into petting. Medically Mocha Raspberry is apparently healthy.

Mocha Raspberry came into the care center as a stray; due to this, her behavioral history in a home environment is unknown. In the care center Mocha Raspberry has shown reactivity and over-arousal around dogs, including hard barking, charging, spinning, and jumping at kennel walls/crates. She is noted to have redirected onto a handler's leg while reacting to dogs, causing bruising and a hole in the handler's pants. With the handler, she is noted to be social, leaning into petting. Due to behavioral concerns, we recommend that she be available for rescue through one of our new hope partners.
