Bio
Bodina is a 3y pup that came into the shelter with some medical issues. She is pretty shy just having arrived, but the team has had no issues handling. She would benefit by being in a quite home.

Medical
10/7: BAR. MM=Pink. Heart and lungs normal. Walks with stiff gait in both front legs. Most likely has osteoarthritis in both front legs.
P: TX: Carprofen (50mg/ml) 1.5cc SQ
RX: Carprofen 75mg 1T SID 7 days
RX: Gabapentin 100mg 2C BID 7 days
10/14: BAR. MM=Pink. Heart and lungs=Grade III/VI systolic heart murmur. Very stiff and arthritic on both the front legs and hindquarters. Sedated with Dexdormitor (.5mg/ml) .8cc IM.
DX: Xray (RL & VD View Cervical Spine, Thoracolumbar Spine, Pelvis, front legs and rear legs)=Osteoarthritis in both elbow joints, Severe bilateral hip dysplasia, Spondylosis of the thoracic spine. Osteoarthritis both stifle joints with the left stifle more pronounced on radiographs.
P: Will require lifelong maintenance or care for the arthritis
Reversed sedation with Atipamezole (5mg/ml) .4cc IM\\

Shelter Observations:
10/10: Really shy but shows no signs of aggression
10/11: Very shy but still sweet will allow you to touch her but needs patience
10/14: Still very shy but has opened up a bit. No issue handling and taking her outside. Allows handling all over, no interested in treats, would benefit from being in a quite home.

Playgroup Observation
10/15/26: This dog kept to self, allows greets, and corrects rough and rowdy play. PG1 - Social/DG - Dainty & Gentle
