🩺 Medical Notes:
Nestle is heartworm NEGATIVE! She has mild flea allergy dermatitis around her hindquarters, but no treatment was needed per the examining officer. She received routine vaccinations, deworming, and parasite prevention.
⸻
Behavior Notes:
Nestle has been very vocal in her kennel and during cleaning, with high-pitched barking, jumping at the kennel door, and trying to get out. Outside, she continues vocalizing and searching for a way to escape. She walks on a tight leash and has shown little interest in treats.
The shelter environment appears to be overwhelming for Nestle. She needs someone willing to give her a chance outside the kennel setting, where she may have the opportunity to settle and decompress.
