Behavior Notes:
Dixon can sometimes be timid and fearful, displaying a tucked tail and lowered body. He sometimes avoids the leash or backs away when handlers approach, particularly when being retrieved from the outdoor runs.
But there's a sweet boy beneath that fear! Staff describe him as friendly, wiggly, and responsive to gentle baby talk. He has allowed petting, relaxed with reassurance, and walked nicely on a loose leash. Once leashed, he generally follows handlers without difficulty.
