Lexie is a pretty little girl who must have been abandoned a while ago. She has lost trust in people, but want's so bad to trust them again. A nice gentleman called animal control because he did not want her to get hit by a car, but he could not afford to keep her. The officers tried to catch her but had a real tough time, so the nice gentleman fixed her some eggs and bacon and put a tranqilizer in it so that she would go to sleep and the officers could take her off the street. Now she is in just as much danger, just a different kind. She is facing a deadly needle on Thursday, if nobody comes for her. I spent a lot of time with her today, and the longer I was around her, the more she trusted me. It would only take her a few days to come around if the right person came along. She needs a good home, a bath, and most of all LOVE. Even though she is scared when approached, she does not growl, show her teeth or try to look threating in any way. She is an innocent victim of our society. Let's show her that there are many good people left in this world who would love to offer her a real home.
