Polly tested heartworm positive. Polly came to the shelter with her name. She looks like a German Shepherd in a more compact size. Polly is fully grown and sweet. She walks well on a leash and loves to be bushed. Her former owner described her as affectionate and active. She is a year and a half old. Polly is a former Pet of the Week. We thought her picture in the paper would bring her adopter in. She is still waiting.
Polly is vaccinated. She will be spayed and microchipped before going to her new homes. She requires treatment for heartworms.
