Rock was taken from a 4 ft. x 6 ft. pen in a yard with no shade on day when the heat index was 105. When we got him to the shelter he was almost in heat exhaustion/ close to heat stroke. Another few hours in the pen we feel sure he would have died.
We got him the help he needed to save his life. He is one very thankful dog, overflowing with love for everyone. Just amazing to think of what he went through - his whole life in a small pen out in the elements.
We want him to find a very special home with lots of room to play and to be loved. He sure deserves it. Come visit him.
