Hello. My name is Trixie. I am a year old Beagle who was dumped at the shelter along with five puppies. When the staff came in one morning, there we were. I am a friendly girl who must have had a home at one time. I enjoy people and attention and would make a great addition to your family. Come see me or contact the shelter about me.The shelter is open 7 days a week. Daily hours are 10-3, M/W hours are 10-6. Out of state adoptions are welcomed. Dogs at Belmont County Animal Shelter are PTS due to behavioral issues and illness (and would not be posted here), in addition to lack of space. In many cases, this permits us to extend the euth date of the dogs listed on this site. Even with extensions, there are no guarantees and these dogs are still very much in danger.
