Hello. My name is Tamara. I am a Coonhound who is in need of a family. I must have had once because I am a friendly girl. I like people and other dogs, but it isn't known how I feel about cats, because one has yet to cross my path here at the shelter. I long for the day when I can be a part of family again. If you have room in your heart and lots of room on your couch, I am the girl for you. Come see me or contact the shelter about me. It is open from 10-6 on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 10-3 the rest of the week. Out of state adoptions are welcomed and an application is available on line at www.bcarl.org. Woof.*

Dogs at Belmont County Animal Shelter are PTS due to behavioral issues and illness (and would not be posted here), in addition to lack of space. In many cases, this permits us to extend the euth date of the dogs listed on this site. Even with extensions, there are no guarantees and these dogs are still very much in danger.
