About dutch: Dutch was brought into the shelter on July 27, 2009 by animal control. He was found wondering on 20th Street in Morehead City. He is a real sweet fella and has a good demeanor about him. He loves to be rubbed on and given lots of love. He seems a little shy or timid initially though he is coming out of his shell the more he adjust to shelter life. Since Dutch was a stray we do not know any of his past history. Dutch seems to be a great guy deserving of a loving FOREVER home. We love our Pitt Bulls and want to keep them safe. In order to adopt Dutch you must speak with the manager and fill an application prior to the adoption.
We had to euthanize Dutch bc our shelter is filling up daily with Pitbulls and it is harder to adopt them out.
