About daphne: HI. My name is Daphne. I am a 7 month old Border Collie mix who came to the shelter as a stray. I am a wonderful girl who will make someone a loving best friend. When I got here, I was petrified of everything. Now that someone comes a lot, pays lots of attention to me, and takes me for walks, I have started to come out of my shell and am not so frightened anymore. I must have been abused because if something startles me, I crouch down into a submissive position and tuck my tail tightly between my legs. Once you assure me that everything is OK, I'm fine. I love to go for walks, but most of all I adore attention. The more you talk to me and pet me, the more I love you. Come see me at the shelter or contact them about me. The shelter is open 7 days a week. Daily hours are 10-3, M/W hours are 10-6. Out of state adoptions are welcomed. Adoption applications are available on line at www.bcarl.org. Woof.
