About cole: RESCUES ONLY: Cole originally was a stray, but was adopted with another dog to a family about a year ago. About a month ago, his owner passed away suddenly and Cole lost his partner. Cole started to show a lot of behavior issues and his family couldn't handle him. Cole would try to bite and growl at strangers, turned aggressive towards dogs. Cole also became very protective of the mother in the house. The family decided they couldn't handle him anymore. He came back to the shelter, he remembers us here and is ok with us. But, strangers come in and he barks, growls, and lunges at the kennel door. Cole is a dominant dog, does pull some on leash, and would need some obedience, structure training. Loves to be in exercise pen and nose is constantly on the ground. Is friendly to us. He has had a hard couple months, so I giving him a second chance.
