About gabe-0101145: Gabe is a typical happy go lucky black Labrador Retriever ready for some fun. He did test postive for heartworms but it is treatable. He would be worth it.

We are a public animal shelter that serves a large number of animals. Therefore, we unfortunately cannot hold adoptable pets for very long. ALL dogs have a limited amount of time to find a new home.

We can only estimate a euthanasia date and we do our best to keep these listings updated but we are very busy caring for the animals and delays sometimes occur. By visiting or calling the shelter, you will get the most current information on this dog. PLEASE COME TO THE SHELTER SOON!

ADOPTION PROCESS: The process of adoption entails you coming to the shelter and filling out an adoption application. You must be 18 years of age, and provide photo identification. The adoption fee is $70.00. This fee includes the following: first set of vaccinations, rabies vaccine, the spay/neuter, a microchip, and a heartworm test. The adopted pet will have the above done, by our veterinarian, before the animal can leave the shelter, unless the vet specifies otherwise due to age, health or injury.

SHELTER HOURS: The following are hours that the shelter is open for the public to view adoptable animals: Monday through Friday from Noon to 6:00 p.m.; Saturday & Sunday from Noon to 5:00 p.m.

DIRECTIONS TO THE SHELTER: From 287 (Martin Luther King, Jr. Freeway), exit at Village Creek and go south to the end of Village Creek. From Southeast Loop 820 exit Martin and go west to Village Creek.

Gabe is up-to-date with routine shots.
