About alice: Thankyou to adam compton who donated 20.00 towards Alice's heartworm treatments! Thanks, Adam!!! -Alice- Heartworm Positive! Intake Date: 4.1.10 Available Date: 4.6.10 Intake Reason: Stray Age: 4 years old House Broken: Unsure Adoption Fee: $85 I know that I adore people, I know how to fetch and I know that I love other dogs. What I don't know is how I wound up here. I sit here, as days go by looking at all the other people, looking at other dogs, I just want someone to notice me the way that other people notice dogs. I had been out on my own for quite sometime, and I am really glad that I ended up here, with a canine friend, plenty of food and lots of walks. I was so sad, I never know where I would be spending the night or where my food was going to come from. When it would rain, I would be there. When it would get really hot, I would be there. Now that I'm here, the people have been talking about how I have heartworms. I didn't know this, but I know that I can make it through the treatments. I am looking forward to the day where I don't have to worry about a thing. A day where I can just relax on the couch and snuggle up with my owner. I want that so bad, I don't want to spend another night here on the concrete floor. I want a place that can take me to the park, on walks, I want to experience life and not just spend my whole life outside in the same yard every day. I just want someone who can understand where I'm coming from, and where I'm going. Please don't pity me, adopt me. DO NOT WAIT TO CONTACT US IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THIS DOG!!
