Patti & Marcie are about 1year old.
Rat Terriers are instinctively hunters, yet sensible companion at home. They love to play and have a special passion for ball chasing. The Rat Terrier needs a fenced yard (and a walk, like all dogs, to release energy in a healthy way). Otherwise they will take off after anything that runs, if left loose. They are generally good with other dogs and cats in their own family. Attentive and sensitive, this breed responds to discipline and to obedience training that utilizes food and praise. Can you give this animal a safe and loving permanent home? Two out of three animals will not make it out of the shelter.
