Medical Summary 1/29/17 Sex: Male neutered Scan: Negative Estimated age: 12 years as reported by previous owner Fleas: No flea dirt. S: Tense, showing a whale eye, stiff body, focusing on leaving the room. Evades muzzle except when he lunges at it and tries to bite it. O: BAR H, BCS 7/9 EENT: No discharge OU, AU, nose. Oral exam not performed. PLNs: Left popliteal LN is subjectively larger than right popliteal LN; both feel slightly large. H/L: Resp sinus arrhythmia. NMA. Eupnic, quiet lung sounds. Abd: Tense. M/S/I: Amb x4. Scarring (alopecia, thickened skin) on lateral aspect of right hind leg (irregular shape on lower leg) and on lateral aspect of left hind leg (irregular shape on the upper and lower leg). Muscles under the scars are irregular in shape. Small decubital ulcers on hind legs. Thin knees. UG: Male neutered, soft empty scrotum. A: 1. Scarring on hind legs indicative of old injury 2. Geriatric Short-term prognosis: Good P: No treatment needed at this time. Provide adequate bedding for comfort. 1088
