About goliath: At 90 pounds, Goliath is an imposing pooch. When the animal control officer picked him up, he barked at him, but allowed the officer to pet him pretty quickly. When the officer opened the door to the dog truck, he jumped in with no hesitation. Upon intake medical work is done. He was less friendly when handled for vaccinations. We are looking for a rescue for this dog. May be adopted to a home with owners knowledgeable with working with dogs of this breed. No small children. Goliath is currently under an Animal Control Hold. He can leave the shelter when that hold has been removed.
