Stila has surely an endearing little face, all round like a mushy ball and with velvety eyes that always seem to beg for something. She looks older than her age and so solemn, I guess because life does not seem to have been that clement to her. She is all wiggly, though, welcoming, tail wagging and so happy to be in company. Although shiny, her coat needs mending, her body is too thin and she has already the marks of past motherhood. Stila is leashed without fuss and walks quite well. She is clearly glad to be out and strolls enthusiastically around the block. She eliminates as soon as we leave the building. She is fine meeting other dogs even the little ones. Back in a pen, leash free, Stila hovers around me, climbs on the bench and settles like a cat on my lap. She even purrs. Could she be a feline in disguise? She loves treats and food, will sit for them and insists to get more. I understand. She has lots of love and care to catch up with. Well, this should not be that difficult to grant to this lovely girl. She needs a home to call her home, a master or family to love and Stila, our little black orchid will bloom into your best forever buddy. Come and meet Stila at the Manhattan Care Center.

I met Stila when she first came to us. It was hard to ignore her. She was lying up against the front of her kennel, staring at passersby with her big puppy eyes, waiting for someone to come say hello. How could I not oblige this gorgeous sweetheart! I went over to her and started to interact with her. Her tail started wagging immediately. She was very sweet with me, and she absolutely loved it when I scratched behind her ears! Then she rolled on her side to let me know it was belly rub time! Stila had her behavior assessment today and received a Beginner Home rating. She has some skin issues, but shes ready to get all healed up in a wonderful forever home! Please let us know if you can help Stila today!
