Hello. My name is Barbiel. I'm about 5 years old and I now weigh about 50 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Lisbon area. I was on the side of the road. I must have known just which vehicle to follow to get help because, because the person I followed home was a veterinarian! She fed me and gave me some medicine to help me feel better. You can see in my photos, when I was found, I was horribly neglected. I was emaciated, I had bad skin, and I had obviously just whelped a litter of pups which were nowhere to be found.
I was picked up by the pound and quickly began to put weight back on.
I am a real sweet girl. I love people! I have also been good around the other dogs here at the pound.
I am looking for a nice family to join.
