Eddie is a 1yr male pit bull. Eddie was found in Cape Coral and turned into our field department. Eddie has done okay in the shelter. During his one on one evaluation Eddie was social and would run and jump for attention. Eddie was somewhat tolerant of handling as he would become very squirmy during the process. During his food assessment Eddie did not do so well. Eddie was tolerant during the pet and would wiggle. The moment the assess-a-hand got near the food bowl, Eddie would growl and lift his lip. I removed the hand and Eddie finished eating without any issues. Eddie did his dog introduction and did okay. Eddie has exhibited a mild food aggression and would benefit from behavior modification.
