Welcome Mariah. She is a 3 year old terrier mix. She weighs 48 pounds and is heartworm negative. She was found at Arnette Park and no one came looking for her.
Mariah is a bit overwhelmed in the noisy shelter. She seeks the safety of her kennel, but she welcomed me into her space.
Mariah welcomed the love and affection that was lavished upon her. She 'talks' to you and she sniffed and gently took treats.
Mariah wants to love and be loved. But, she needs time and patience as she learns to trust you. In a short amount of time she came to understand that human touch can be gentle and she laid her head on my knee.
Mariah is waiting, at the front of her kennel, to meet you. She's ready to know forever love and have her own home.
