𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲 resident witnessed 2/blk & 1/brown dogs loose chasing women and her baby pls sweep 09/16/23 09:55 Alarm barking from behind sheet covering kennel when entering row in AM; when uncovered during feeding she stopped, scurried to back of kennel with tail tucked, then got used to me being in the row and eventually was quiet/relaxed inside kennel when I walked by. However, whenever anyone new walked into the row, she was alarm barking, had whale eyes, tucked tail and process started over again with different staff during cleaning. On leash she was flinchy, tail down and side eyeing me whenever I got close, walked at end of leash to keep distance. Due to behavior not improving, marking beh consul. dog was vocal during cleaning and when i approched her she had wiggly body with a fast wagging tail and as i leashed her she walked semi tight leash and as we got to the runs her body posture was stiff and focused on the dogs already in runs so i called her and showed her treats and she walked with me inside the run. back in her kennel she was vocal even when covered as citizens walked in and as i tossed treats over the kennel she gets quiet. while walking the dogs from the oppisite side sofie was being reactive towards the dogs i walked in the hallway and once it was her turn she walked next to me and then pulled the leash towards the grass and pottied. in the run she was vocal and kept looking at the dog next to her on her right and i would toss treats when she would low growl and the dog next to her and she stops and begins to wagg her tail and stand in front of the kennel. Approaching kennel, sofie presented a tense face with dilated pupils and a lowered head. While leashing, it was somewhat hesiatnt but treats seems to motivate her. While on the leash, she has a bac leash and stays behidn. Pulls back at times but motivated with treats. I used hot dogs and it really seems to get her body wiggly and tail but her face seems unsure with its muscle tension. Approaching kennel, dog displays a slightly-wrinkled forehead as well as a tense body as I passed by with another dog that I was walking. I offered treats to redirect her attention and as I walked in she started to pace from side to side with a low curled tail and flinched as I took off her collar. Would recommend to work slowly.
