Almond was a wonderful surprise! She was so friendly and even gave play bows to her dog friends in the runs next to us. She was excited to get outside and stretch her legs but she leashed up well! Once outside she jumped up on the chairs ready to get some treats and loving! She happily ate all the treats I offered and it killed me how skinny she is. Her body tells the story of a rough life with both open wounds and healed scars, on top of her skinniness. She needs to get out of the shelter and finally have a peaceful life where she can receive all the love she deserves!
