Poland has made quite an impression on our volunteers. One said he was so handsome, a gorgeous gray and white pup with a beautiful white chest and white socks and great ears. He's energetic and fun - a happy dog who loves being with people. Another volunteer said Poland is easy to walk, a pleasure to walk, and loves to give hugs. Good looks, affectionate, sweet and easy. Sounds like 4 pretty good reasons to bring this amazing boy home. Meet him and see.
REASON FOR RISK. Poland is a two years and three months old. He came to the shelter in late November 2023 as a found dog who was very skinny. He is well liked by both volunteers and staff. Poland is energetic and needs his exercise. He gets along with other dogs and has fun in our playgroup. In February he began showing signs of kennel stress by barking jumping and smearing feces in his kennel. This is likely to make adopters not select him as a choice. He will always require a home where he can get exercise but his stress behaviors should go away after some decompression time.
