She has some hairloss, healing wounds, and tested high positive for heartworm disease. Ashley would greatly benefit from finding a foster home where she can get treatment! Forward barking and lunging at kennel door when dogs are being walked by, ).". 📝 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: 2/27/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: Ashley was a move adopt this morning. Passing kennel, she was laying by the door, ears back, eyes dilated and trembled. She was quiet throughout the day. 3/4/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: Ashley walked in a semi-tight leash while taking her to the dog run, she held a tense body and dilated eyes. Walking through the row for spot cleaning and four on the floor, she started forward barking at me. Will cover kennel and monitor. 3/5/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: quiet in kennel, wiggly body and wagging tail, easy to leash and w walks on a loose leash to outside runs follows a great treat trail. 3/6/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: On leash walking down row out of kennel was lunging at other dogs. Pulled her to be on the opposite side of my legs and walked quickly so she could not lunge, though she was still trying to look around my legs at other dogs. Quiet and ignoring other dogs in run, and walking back inside I harnessed and held her on my side away from the kennels and again she was very focused on other dogs but ultimately didn't lunge at other dogs. When bringing in the neighboring dog she began forward barking, lunging through kennel door as he entered kennel next to hers. 3/7/2025 BEHAVIOR NOTE: When initially taking Ashley out of her kennel was pulling, lunging at the dogs to the left. Today I took her down the other side of the row to the other door and she passed by the other dogs without interest, even as other adopt evals were forward following her.
