Peewee is a well-mannered, calm, and affectionate dog who enjoys spending time with people. She has developed a severe upper respiratory infection and is suspected to have pneumonia. She needs treatment beyond what the shelter can provide and is looking for a home where she can recove.
Medical Notes
2/27- Pet has been prescribed Doxycycline for 14 days as part of our new heartworm therapy. Pet is to go home with remaining Doxycycline prescribed.
RX: Doxycycline 100mg Tabs ? 10mg/kg(Round down) BID x 14 days.
3/11- Lethargic. Coughing and increased resting respiratory. Bilateral purulent nasal discharge. Not wanting to eat.

Shelter Observation
3/11- During the observation, Peewee was resting. She allowed me to enter the kennel and verbally interact with her. I was able to rearrange her bedding and replace her. Peewee had a great posture for her pictures, was gentle and affectionate, and accepted rubs. She was not accepting treats at this moment.
