💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
We were not able to meet Sirena. If you're interested in helping us meet the animals, please message us!

📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: Approaching kennel, Sirena held a low head, slightly cowering body, whaled eyes, and low curled tail as I babytalked and
offered treats. Dog walked out very slowly with tense legs and maintained a low body as well as a tucked tail. On the way
back from the runs, dog would stop walking suddenly and would pancake with a whaled eyes but would continue to walk
after a little encouragement with me squatting down. Did notice that when attempting to enter the building from one route
dog started to pull back on leash and thrash but then followed me through the other side.
Sirena was laying down in her bedding, when I approach she slowly got up with whale eyes. I was able to leash her up and
she walked out slowly. She became more loose once we got to the outisde run. She seemed to be more comfrotable out
there with a loose body and wagging her tial. Once I came back to leash her up, she walke dout of the run then she
pancaked and refused to come in. I tried to leer her in with baby talk and treats she would whine/cry if I tried to walk
forward. I kneeled down besides her and she rolled on her back and offered up her belly. I gave her scratches and belly
rubs , she seemed to enjoy them. I tried to get up and walk forward to see if she would follo wand she did not. I had to carry
her back to her kennel/ Throughout the day she lays down relaxed on bedding curled up in a c shape.
Approaching kennel, Sirena presented a tense body and lowered her head to the floor avoiding the leash and slightly
crouching. She walked loosely to an outside run with a low wagging tail, not treat responsive. When walking back to her
kennel, she froze and jerked her head away when approaching the door to south, then laid belly up and would not move.
Once carried into the hallway, she walked back to her kennel tentatively. Passing kennel, she was curled up on her cot,
ears out to the sides, and trembled.
