💙🐶Pancake #A2021773
7/12 euth req︱ Rottweiler mix︱neutered male︱8mo︱HW NEG/NAD︱52.3lbs

Pancake is such playful and happy boy! He was a euthanasia request / owner surrender 2 weeks ago. Which breaks my heart because he?s such a good boy. When he first arrived at BARC he had stellar shelter notes, also highlighting his friendly and playful demeanor. But being in the shelter environment confined to a small kennel is clearly weighing on him. I feel confident once he leaves BARC he will be the perfect boy for someone. He walks well on leash, loves to play, takes treats nicely, knows sit, and is incredibly dog friendly. For a young 8 month old puppy, he?s incredibly well behaved given the circumstances. This sweet boy deserves a chance outside of BARC with someone who won?t give up on him

relaxed body, low wagging tail, easy to leash walked on a loose leash too and from runs.
When leashing, Pancake stood up on his cot, stayed in place and lifted his front paw. Once outside, he walked with a
semi-loose leash, looking around and walking the radius of the leash, swaying tail, ears up, open mouth.
Very tense, no takes treats so I used baby talk to leash him up, he walks behind me with tucked tail. Licking lips and whale
eyes.
Wagging tail and relaxed body as I approach kennel standing in front of kennel. easy to leash and walked on a loose leash
to hallway until he saw other dogs walking past and people walking by he began to play bow and began to get wiggly
body as we walked out runs.
Pancake was a bit vocal in the am, as I approached kennel and entered she did jumped up a bit towards me as I leashed
her up . Once leashed I was able to redirect with treats. Walked out on a smei tight leash. Once out in the run was playful
towrads other dogs in the runs. Back in kenenl has been quiet and relaxed.
Pancake is vocal in the kennel, but once I have him on the leash, he pulls forward, jumping everywhere while walking.
Pancake will walk and suddenly stop and will jump backwards and walking in all different directions not interested in any of
the treats that was being toss in front of him.
Very active, twisting and turning, jumping up on the walls. Shot out of the kennel and ran down the suite, play bowing and
raising hackles.
Difficult to administer vaccine, even with chicken pieces and other food items. Pawing continuously at leash muzzle and
rolling on side, in kennel.
