When approaching kennel he was standing at the front of door with a wrinkled forehead, dilated eyes, tense shivering body and tail tucked. As I opened the door he retreated to the back of kennel, I offered treats and he responded to sniffing them but didn't eat them. As I went to place a leash on his he began turning his head and avoiding the leash, once leash he walked on loose leash and followed my directions. Once outside I just leash walked him, when I slowly went to pet him and offer treats once more he began backing away from me then started flinching with his eyes dilated and tensed body.

In the AM when spot cleaning, dog ran out of kennel. I let him roam in the room while I cleaned his kennel. When trying to retrieve him he kept running pass me with tense body, low head, and tucked tail. I then squatted down and he froze in front of me and slowly started to come forward as I baby talked him but still maintained tense body. I then was able to easily place the leash on him, walked back into kennel with low head and tucked tail
