8/21 Stray | Staffie Mix | Male | 2Y | 43 lbs | HW NAD/NEG

💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
I initially took Alec out because he had the name of my friend, it was early in the morning so I was the first one to get him out. He was very excited and wanted to hurry up and get to the runs. He ran around, sniffed, checked in for pets, but was mostly content to do his own thing. He wasnt super interested in treats but when I would ask him to sit he would throw himself into a sit and pose for a few pictures for me. This young guy needs a lot more enrichment than the shelter can offer and would love to see him blossom outside the stressful environment!

📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
8/30 - Alicia greeted me at the kennel door with a fast wagging tail and by jumping up on the kennel door. He let me leash him and walked in zig zags to and from the potty yard ignoring treats. Inside his kennel she can be seen waiting by the kennel
door with a fast wagging tail and if anyone stands in front of her kennel she will jump up on the kennel door.
8/29- Approaching run, Alicia is jumping and pawing at he gate while holding an open mouth pant, dilated pupils, and slight helicopter tail. I attempt to redirect with treats but dog kept pawing at the gate while vocalizing. After successfully leashing,
dog came out jumping on me as well as zigzagging on the leash (ignored treats) all the way to her new kennel. Gave her extra enrichment to keep her busy.
9/1 - painted kennel overnight, jumping onto kennel door, painted kennel again thorughout day.
8/31 - Alec greets me at the kennel door with a fast wagging tail and jumping on the kennel door. he let me leash him and walked in zig zags to and from the potty yard ignoring treats. inside his kennel he can be seen jumping up on the kennel door when people pass by
