Thrashing, jerking and biting leash. Dog would slowly walk but as he felt leash he would started to thrash and bit leash.
As the ACT approched the kennel, Carlito was wagging his tail fast and had his ears up when the ACT came up to him through the gate. He allowed the ACT to place the leash over him and walked outside loosely. During the walk, Carlito
started to walk more semi-loosely and pulling in all directions, he started to calm down more once he had walked a bit more away from the New Building. As the ACT started to walk Carlito back, he started to go back to pulling and even
started to thrash around the ACT as they were being walked back to their kennel. They did not pay any of the other dogs no mind and had to have the ACT walk them into their kennel.
Carlito greets me at the kennel door with a fast wagging tail and airplane ears. He let me leash him and walked on a tight leash to and from the potty yard. Inside his kennel he can be seen waiting by the kennel door for interaction
Carlito was a move adopt this morning. He walked semi-loosely, a bit agitated, looking and slightly pulling in all directions, ears up, panting. Passing kennel, he was laying on his cot chewing on his nyla bone.
Dog did very well with leashing inside the kennel and outside in the outdoor kennel. Was a bit hesitant, when going back inside but no trashing or jerking on the leash. Did well with taking treats through the kennel.
Tense, walked on a slow leash, tail low, head down. Was cage fighting when I was distracting other dogs. Avoided the outside run door. Was walking around outside and sniffing.
Carlito showed a lax and happy body language when he saw the ACT outside of his gate. He had a bright smile on his face along with a wagging tail. As soon as the ACT took him outside, he started to jump and run on the leash in all direction in a zig-zag pattern. He was pulling on the leash, while being very energetic towards the ACT. Carlito would sometime jump on
or off from the ACT and begin to pull in a random direction. On the way back to the kennel, he saw another dog being walked and started to pull towards, he didn't growl, have his hackles up or produce a loud agressive bark towards the
another dog from where he was. Carlito was completely uninterested in the other dogs as we passed them to his kennel.
The ACT had to walk him into his due to him being reluctant to go in himself.
When the ACT approched the kennel, Carlito briskly walked up the kennel gate and had his tongue out with a smile on his face and airplane ears. Carlito started to pull in all directions and jumping on the ACT during the walk. He had loose but energetic body language. He saw another dog and started to pull towards them, Carlito did not show any signs of negative reaction towards the dog from his distance. He did not react to any dogs as he was going back to his kennel and had the ACT walk him into his kennel because he was refusing to go in.
