Hello, my name is Selly. My animal id is #231243. I am a desexed female gray dog at the Queens Animal Care Center. The shelter thinks I am about 7 years 2 months 3 weeks old.
I came into the shelter as a stray on 7/5/2025.
Selly is at risk for medical reasons. She has multiple mammary masses with one large mass close to rupturing. Selly needs placement so she can have the mass (and chain) surgically removed to continue providing her with a good quality of life. She allows all handling for medical exams. Behaviorally, she is best suited for a single pet home and for an adopter who has experience managing the following behaviors: anxiety, barrier/on-leash reactivity, poor impulse control.
