📝 Shelter Notes:

11/8/2025 ? Approaching the kennel, Jack greets me at the run gate with a semi-wiggling body, high wagging tail, and soft eyes. When leashed, Jack was walked on a loose leash and walked slowly to his outside run, he was also curious about his surroundings when he was walking, stopping and sniffing everything that he came across during his walk. He wasn?t interested in any of the dogs that passed him by or he passed by and he was quiet to and from his outside run. On the way back to his kennel, Jack became stiff and stared at another dog in the distance and did not move until I gave his leash a slight tug to continue walking with me since treats did not interest him earlier in the day during his walk.

11/7/2025 ? Jack greets with a loose, and wiggly body. Jack walks very slow on a loose leash but occasionally pulls back on leash.

11/6/2025 ? Meets me at kennel door with a loose relaxed body. Easy to leash and walks out loosely. Walks out at a slow pace but on a loose leash. In the run he was relaxed with a high waggy tail. Walked back to kennel loosely. He went to lay down and went to sleep

11/5/2025 ? Slowly walks on a leash, presenting a low body posture, low tail, and soft, closed mouth. Does not accept treats when offered. Remains calm and quiet in the kennel.

11/3/2025 ? Jack presented with a semi-tense body, low tail, and worried expression when approached. He slowly walked out of the room and continued to display the same body language. When retrieving him from the outside runs, he slowly walked toward me but stopped halfway. As I approached, he wanted to run away but I spoke softly and approached slowly. He froze, wagged his tail, and flinched slightly when leashed. He then slowly followed me back to his kennel.
