Citizen turn in K9 and stated she saw it get hit by car.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:

🚑𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
K9 is BAR and has minor abrasion on left side face and has cherry eyes on both
eyes.
Vet staff exam K9 on intake.
11/12/25
S/O: Pt has HX OF BEING HIT BY A CAR. Pt has mild abrasion on left side of
his face. Pt has Bilateral cherry eye. Both glands are completely out, inflammed
but eyes are moist and cornea's clear. Pt appears to be walking fine . No
lameness observed.
A: HBC, #rd eyelid prolapse.
P: Pt will need to have cherryeye sx for both eyes (Recommended for best
chance of not developing dry eye in the future). However if sx not done pt can
still have a good life but may have eye issues longterm.
