11/1/25 Stray | American Bulldog Mix | Female | 4Y | 50 lbs | HW low+

💜 Volunteer Notes:
Cheri was the wiggliest wiggle monster! She was giving me the please take me out eyes with her cone and a submissive head lowering so I had to bring her out! You gotta watch the videos in the comments! When we got out into the run, she was super wiggly, and I was trying to put stuff on her head, but she was just so excited she wasn?t jumping just kind of wiggling around the runs. She was very interested in my treats, and she walked past other dogs fine on the way out, but then I think she started getting overstimulated when we were in the runs. She had a spay abort 😞. Shes a sweet girlie and i hope slmeons gives her a chance at life. She has some not great behavior notes but i didnt witness that behavior, though orher volunteers did so she would do best in a home with no other dogs.

1 pitbull female gray dog is outside for 3 weeks mail carrier has not deliver due to the dog being outside will bark at everyone

11/3/2025 BEHAVIOR
NOTE
Dog is at the front of the kennel ready to go outside, wagging tail, alert ears and open moth panting. Holds a strong leash,
wagging tail, as we were walking by another dog she did low growl at the dog but I redirected her and she left the dog
alone. Walked to and from run no issues

11/15/2025 BEHAVIOR
NOTE
Very vocal in the kennel. Cheri appears to be overly stressed in the kennel. She stands at the front of the kennel as she
barks. I also noticed Cheri destroying the Kuranda bed, so it was removed from the kennel and replaced with a blanket
only.

11/14/2025 BEHAVIOR
NOTE
Cheri walked semi-loosely with raised hackles as she passed other dogs and vocalized. Passing kennel, she greeted me at
the door with dilated eyes, wiggly body and lip licked.

NOTE
When approaching kennel I observed that she kept her kennel clean throughout the night. As it was her turn to go outside
she remained walking on loose leash to the door but as we got outside she began pulling tot he runs. When placed in the
runs she used the restroom then started pacing the fence line vocalizing and would start low growling towards the dogs I
was walking back inside.

11/12/2025 BEHAVIOR
NOTE
Ms, Cheri when walking by was vocal in her kennel. When approaching her kennel to take her out , she was standing by
her door, was easy to leash, happy tail. Walked to the runs on a Simi-tight leash. Once I left her at her run notice she was
vocal outside as well.

11/11/2025 BEHAVIOR
NOTE
Approching the kennel, Cheri greeted me that gate of her run with fast wagging tail, soft eyes, open mouth smile with
tongue out, ears up and alert, and wiggling body. I was able to leash her easily and she walked with a forward pull on the
leash but while in her outside run, she was showing some reactive signs towards other dogs like growling, raised hackles,
showing teeth, and forward lunging through the gate towards other dogs that passed her by.
During PM feeding, I walked into Cheri's kennel and started to rub her bottom and stonmach. She really liked that and
jumped on me for more attention. She nipped and sniffed at my treat bag and I offered her some treats and she ate them
quickly on her cot.

11/10/2025 BEHAVIOR
NOTE
Wiggly body, wagging tail with the baby talk, easy leash her up, walks taking treats, potty in the grass from the outside runs.
When I returned her to the kennel she just lying in the kuranda bed to play with the enrichment.

11/9/2025 BEHAVIOR
NOTE
When outside, Cheri fixated, vocalized, bared teeth, hackles raised, tail erect and stiff, ears forward, toward another female
dog, unless I distracted the other dog with treats and they went away from her. When walking past a male dog she had no
reaction, did not sniff toward them or make eye contact, neutral body.

NOTE
When approaching kennel she is overly aroused and begins jumping on kennel door while vocalizing, dilated eyes and
presents furrowed brows. As she is walking outside she walks on semi-tight leash with a tensed body, lip licking and waiting
