I came into the shelter as a agency on 3/11/2026.
Euphrates is at risk due to behavioral reasons. Euphrates initially was observed to be fearful while in care. Noted to have a tense body and hard stare at the handler when they initiate contact. Throughout their stay at the care center, Euphrates has warmed up to handlers. Noted to check in with handlers while on walks and is receptive to treats. Recently Euphrates has been observed to have a low threshold for arousal. Noted to be rope reactive. Jumping up high, biting and tugging on the leash. This is not able to be easily redirected. Medically, Euphrates has undetermined allergies, alopecia, unspecified dermatitis, and a wound.
