About bocelli: Intake Info: Bocelli (A2330915) was found alone on the side of the road. A kind individual attempted to locate an owner, but no one came forward, and no microchip was found.
Medical: Bocelli is a heartworm negative, unaltered male who appears thin, with healing wounds and pressure point calluses on his rear legs. He has bilateral entropion (right worse than left), with corneas showing signs of keratitis and possible ulceration secondary to the entropion. His eyes appear painful, with notable blepharospasm and periocular inflammation. He also has multifocal puncture wounds along his face and muzzle. He has started treatment for kennel cough. HS-4.
Staff Notes: Bocelli appears sensitive during eye treatments and became mouthy when medicated; however, he tolerated care well once a muzzle was placed for safety. He is food-motivated and responds well to treats.
Request to Rescues: Bocelli is a resilient and handsome boy who urgently needs rescue placement to address his significant medical needs. He will require continued veterinary care, including treatment for his skin condition and kennel cough, as well as a likely ophthalmology consultation for his painful bilateral entropion and suspected corneal ulcers. Let?s find this precious boy the help he deserves.
