I came into the shelter as a owner surrender on 4/6/2026, with the surrender reason stated as person circumstance- homeless.
Wolly is at risk due to behavioral reasons. Despite our best efforts at making him comfortable Wolly has been observed to be highly fearful while in care. Noted to have a tense body when handlers attempt to interact with him and while on walks. He is also observed to quickly escalate. During one instance when a handler attempted to use a sling, Wolly snarled and lunged at them. His previous owner described him as social and affectionate. Occasionally he is receptive to treats. Medically, Wolly is underweight and currently receiving treatment for a wound on paw noted during his intake and CIRDC.
