Queen is a dog with deep wounds requiring ongoing daily bandage changes and intensive wound management. Due to the severity of her injuries and the discomfort associated with treatment, she currently requires sedation for each bandage change in order to safely provide care.
These injuries require consistent medical treatment, close monitoring, pain management, and prolonged recovery care, which exceed what we can consistently provide in the shelter environment.
Despite these challenges, Queen is doing her best while receiving supportive care.
Queen needs a safe, compassionate placement where she can receive continued wound care, medical treatment, and monitoring to support healing and improve comfort.
