About fluttershy: 3 year old GSD / Carolina Dog mix girl Fluttershy is on the euthanasia list Wednesday, 5/20 🆘 ⏰ Fluttershy must have a HOLD no later than 1PM or she will lose her life.🥺 🩷🐶 Fluttershy #A2070218 4/24/2026 Stray | German Shepherd / Carolina Dog Mix | Spayed Female | 3Y | 48.8 lbs | HW High Positive 💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: Fluttershy was a sweetie pie. She is obviously quite scared by the overwhelming shelter environment but warmed up quickly to me and loved getting pets. She walked wonderfully on a leash, went potty outside, and seemed unbothered by her neighboring dogs. In a loving, foster or adoptive home, Fluttershy will thrive. 🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: 4/24/2026: 7 dogs in area, repeat caller 📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 4/27/2026: Approach kennel, the dog was standing in front of the kennel door with a neutral body, and tail mid high. She walk on a loose leash to the dog run. 5/6/2026: super calm waits to potty outside keeping her kennel clean. walks right alongside with leash and is quiet all day in her kennel. 5/5/2026: Ms. Fluttershy has a calm body, is quiet in her kennel, she will standing in front of the kennel door with a neutral body, and tail mid high. She walk on a loose leash to the dog run. 5/16/2026: Fluttershy was walked on a loose leash and neutral to and from the outside runs. She was shy and kept close to me as we walked. She did a good job of keeping her kennel clean overnight and paying little attention to other dogs as she passed them by and vice versa. 5/15/2026: super calm walks alongside me keeps her kennel clean and occasionally stops for pets. 5/12/2026: Ms. Fluttersky is calm in her kennel, she was easy to leash and walked on a lose leash to the runs. 5/10/2026: dog was in the kennel and as i leashed her she walked lose leash. 5/18/2026: Fluttershy was walked on a loose leash and neutral to and from the outside runs. She was shy and kept close to me as we walked. She did a good job of keeping her kennel clean overnight and paying little attention to other dogs as she passed them by and vice versa. 5/17/2026: dog was in the kennel and when i approached her she walked lose leash and when i placed her in the run she roamed around and back in the kennel she is quiet and lays down. 🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 5/9/2026: Weighed 48.8 lbs. Heartworms positive. 5/8/2026: Spay surgery performed. Body weight 48.8 lbs. Routine OVH surgery with absorbable subcutaneous closure. Mild tartar noted. Given LRS SQ fluids. Medications administered: KDT, Ketofen, and Carprofen100. Nano microchip implanted and e-collar placed. 4/24/2026: Weighed 37.8 lbs. Heartworms high positive. Vaccinated with DA2PP-V, Bordetella, and Rabies. Dewormed with Pyrantel and given Advantage Multi flea prevention. 📌 Please contact BARC if you are local and can help!
