5/9 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: I LOVE a brindle baby so of course Kianna caught my eye. The little brindle pitties are some of my favorites because they are confident and eager and just plunge into any new experience headfirst. That's definitely this girl! In the run she actually was not as energetic as I was expecting (especially after she dragged me there, she will need some leash training) and was actually super easy to handle. She sat eagerly for treats and showed off her little bat ears and teefies! When I was talking to Becca in the run next to me she didn't mind wandering off to do her own thing, but would come back to me for pets and hugs. We temp tested her with three other girls and she happily trotted alongside all of them. Kianna had a bad day at the shelter recently where she growled at the ACT cleaning her kennel and snapped at them when they tried to take away her enrichment. Because of this, she's been labeled as rescue only for resource guarding, which will significantly hurt her chances of making it out😭 I'm really devastated about this, I think this is a really good girl but she will need someone who is understanding and willing to work with her if she's not perfect at first. She deserves that chance, and I hope her person sees this and can help her❤️

Ms. Kianna greeted me at the front of the kennel with a wiggly body, fast wagging tail. Was easy to leash walked on a,
loose leash, wagging tail and loose body.
Kianna greeted me at the front of the kennel with a wiggly body, fast wagging tail and pulled back ears. Allowed me to
leash and followed me out to the runs, held a loose leash, wagging tail and loose body.
Very friendly this morning. Was quietly sitting down in front of the door with wagging tail. I easily leashed her and she
followed me out with wiggly body. I placed her in the runs and she started to scurry around at first but she then started to
sniff around and greet her neighbors. When retrieving her she scurried back inside and walked on a tight leash with wiggly
body, panting and dilated eyes. Once in the kennel she went for her water and then went to lay down.
Approaching kennel dog was quietly standing at the front with neutral face and body and a wagging tail. When i baby
talked her she would start wagging her tail faster, licking her lips and tippy tapping. I opened the door and easily leashed
her. She scurried out of kennel with wiggly body and open mouth smile. I placed her in the runs and as i was walking away i
could see that she started to panic and scurry around in the run. She started to whine, paw at the door, and jump high
trying to escape the run. I then went back to retrieve her...i easily leashed her and she scurried out of the runs and walked
on a tight leash back inside and straight into her kennel. I easily removed leash. I spent a couple minutes with her in the
kennel and she was friendly and responded well to baby talk and pets.
Dog growled at me the entire time I was cleaning. Was tense and would bark when I touched the door. I left her while I
cleaned the remained of the row hoping she would do better after a bit. At the end of cleaning she greeted me at the
front of the kennel and would wag her tail when I baby talked. Easily leashed and walked outside to the runs with a loose
leash. I cleaned her kennel, and when I came out to get her she was doing tappy toes, and wagging her tail. I easily
leashed, but dog immediately began pulling. Dog pulled all the way back to kennel. Did not remove leash due to behavior
this morning.
While helping ACT with passing out enrichment, Kianna held a tight leash while being placed in new kennel but would
remain quiet/laying in her bed throughout the day.
Later when feeding her, she started to guard her enrichment and attempted to bite my shoe then my hand as I retracted
from the kennel.
was calm and quiet in kennel during am feeding and cleaning. when walking she walked on a very tight forward leash and
ignored attempts at redirecting her pulling. she pulled so hard that I had to use both hands to make sure her leash didn't slip
out of my grip.
wiggly body, smiling mouth, fast wagging tail. walked on a forward leash but did not pull very hard. was able to redirect
pulling with treats.
Ms.Kianna is ready to go out in the morning, kept her kennel clean. Will be at the door with a wiggly body, happy tail. She's
easy to leash , does walk pulling on the leash to the runs, today she did not care for the treats.
Ms.Kianna was easy to leash did walked forward pulling on the leash to the runs. Did have a wiggly body , open smile,
leaned in for pets.
Kianna was walked on a semi-loose leash due to forward pulling on the leash slight to and from the outside runs. She paid
little attention to other dogs as she passed them by and vice versa. I had no issues placing her back in her kennel.
when going to her kennel she is waiting for me to leash her when walking on a leash she is pulling, going forward. in the runs
she is playing around in her kennel throughout cleaning she is quiet.
