💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: We were not able to meet Ice.
🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲: 5/18/2026 ' Caller reported 7 German Shepherd-type dogs roaming the street and chasing people. Citizen reported being chased that morning and requested assistance.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 6/12/2026: Forward barking, lunging, and charging the kennel door while showing teeth at other dogs walking past. 6/11/2026: When dogs passed his kennel, Ice growled and barked. When approached, he presented a neutral body, high curled tail, and soft mouth. Once back in his kennel he jumped on the sides and barked. Kennel remained covered. 6/10/2026: Ice would vocalize toward other dogs but at the runs he would sniff them with a relaxed body, wagging tail, and soft mouth. On the walk back to his kennel he was quiet until he neared dogs that were vocalizing, then began vocalizing back. Once in his kennel he sat and calmly waited for his leash to be removed. 6/8/2026: Greeted staff with a soft face while lying by the kennel door with a semi-tense body, dilated eyes, lip licking, and ears back. Vocalized at dogs passing his kennel but was playful when outside, hopping along the fence with a wiggly body, open mouth, and soft expression. Enjoyed petting and knows sit and paw. 6/6/2026: Spent most of the day lying in his kennel. Became vocal when neighboring dogs stood beside his kennel. Displayed a wiggly body, soft facial expression, and wagging tail. 6/5/2026: Similar behavior to the previous day but became more focused on other dogs and lunged toward a husky next to him. 6/4/2026: Vocal in kennel and became louder when other dogs passed. Also vocalized while being walked in front of the kennel rows. 6/3/2026: Quiet in kennel with a soft facial expression, wagging tail, and neutral body. Walked on a loose leash to the runs. 6/2/2026: Ice and a neighboring dog vocalized at one another through the kennel bars with front paws on the wall. Later observed resting quietly on his bed with a neutral body. 6/1/2026: Stood by his kennel door with a loose, relaxed body when taken to the runs. Easy to leash and walked on a loose leash to and from the runs. 5/27/2026: Loose and relaxed during feeding and cleaning. Greeted staff at the kennel door with a wagging tail and smiling open mouth. Walked on a loose leash going in and out of the south runs. 5/21/2026: Greeted staff at the front of the kennel with an open mouth, fast wagging tail, and soft eyes. Easily leashed and walked on a loose leash to the runs. Mostly kept to himself outside and returned easily to his kennel. 🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 6/12/2026: Continued upper respiratory infection symptoms. Diagnosed with CIRD. Prescribed Doxycycline 250mg SID for 5 days. 6/2/2026: Presented with coughing. Diagnosed with CIRD and moved to treatment. Prescribed Doxycycline 250mg SID for 10 days. 6/1/2026: Weighed 51.0 lbs. Heartworm test: High Positive. 5/18/2026: Weighed 51.0 lbs. Intake condition minor concerns noted. Vaccinated (DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies), dewormed, and given flea and heartworm prevention. Intact male.
