Bio Lucy is a beautiful, gentle dog who arrived at our shelter with a luxated right hip, a painful injury that requires surgical repair. Despite what she's been through, Lucy has remained incredibly sweet, calm, and trusting. She leans in for affection, enjoys quiet company, and has shown us nothing but courage and kindness.
Unfortunately, Lucy's medical needs are more than our shelter can provide, and she is now at risk for euthanasia unless we can find someone who can help her get the care she urgently needs. Lucy deserves a chance to heal, to be pain‑free, and to know the comfort of a loving home. If you are able to help'through rescue, foster, or medical support'please reach out. Email: dasadopt@dallas.gov Include your contact information so our team can call you back as soon as possible.
