5/30/2026: Euthanasia Request' Arrived with her puppies. Intake notes state she was growling and barking forward in the car and had to be muzzled and carried during intake.
📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
6/10/2026: Rosie displayed a wiggly body, wagging tail, and soft facial expression during feeding time. She became excited when staff entered but remained approachable with gentle handling and reassurance.
6/8/2026: Rosie greeted staff with a soft face, wiggly body, wagging tail, lip licking, and ears up. She walked eagerly on leash, remained quiet in her kennel with her puppy, and calmly waited for treats.
6/7/2026: Move Adopt. Rosie was resting quietly in her kennel with her baby, sleeping together without vocalizing.
6/5/2026: Rosie was curled up with her puppies when approached. After gentle encouragement, she got up, allowed leashing, followed staff outside, explored calmly, and responded well to affection and praise.
6/4/2026: Rosie greeted staff with a soft expression and relaxed body. She initially avoided the leash and returned to lie beside her babies but eventually walked into the hallway on her own before returning to her kennel.
6/2/2026: Rosie was lying with her babies and greeted staff with a relaxed body and soft wagging tail. Though timid on leash, she enjoyed the sun and breeze outdoors and allowed both staff and the public to interact with her puppies.
6/1/2026: Move Adopt. Rosie spent the morning resting with her babies.
🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:
5/30/2026: Intake exam noted minor condition concerns. Weighed 35.8 lbs. Vaccinated (Rabies, DA2PP-V, Bordetella), dewormed, flea prevention administered. Heartworm test: Low Positive.
6/7/2026: Diagnosed with URI/CIRD symptoms and started on a 10-day course of doxycycline.
6/17/2026: Completed doxycycline treatment. URI resolved with no clinical signs observed. Moved out of treatment kennel.
