💜 𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:

🔹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲:
6/20/2026: Found as a stray.

📝 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:

7/1/2026: Marco walked calmly on a loose leash with a neutral body, wagging tail, and soft open mouth. While in the runs, he vocalized whenever another dog walked by.

6/30/2026: Marco reacted strongly to another dog while passing his kennel, growling and lunging. Staff also noted he had been barking and fighting with a neighboring dog across from him.

6/28/2026: Approached with a neutral body and ears up. Walked well on a loose leash, but became very vocal in the runs and barked, bared his teeth, and lunged when other dogs passed.

6/26/2026: Calmly approached the front of the kennel, walked well on a loose leash, and kept his kennel clean overnight.

6/24/2026: Calm and quiet in his kennel. Greeted handlers at the front of the kennel with a loose body, neutral tail, and soft mouth.

6/22/2026: Required additional restraint for a blood draw due to thrashing and repeatedly moving away from the handler.

🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀:

6/26/2026: Treated for diarrhea believed to be stress-related. Fecal exam negative. Prescribed Panacur and Metronidazole for 5 days.

6/25/2026: Monitored for diarrhea; no stool noted that morning. Continued observation.

6/22/2026: Heartworm test: Low Positive.

6/20/2026: Weighed 60.0 lbs. Intake condition minor. Began thrashing while muzzled during intake. Vaccinated (DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies), dewormed, and given flea prevention.
