📝 Shelter Notes:
7/9/26: Lunged toward dogs being walked nearby and remained vocal, continuing to watch them even when covered with a blanket.
7/8/26: Move Adopt dog. Walked well on a loose leash and was placed into a new kennel. Later lunged and barked at another Husky passing by, with raised hackles and dilated pupils. Began trying to fence fight with the neighboring Husky. Placed on behavior evaluation due to this recent interaction.
7/4/26: Greeted staff with a wagging tail and walked on a semi-loose leash to and from the runs.
7/2/26: Greeted staff with a relaxed body, soft eyes, and relaxed face. Easily leashed and walked on a semi-loose leash. Returned to kennel without issue but would bark and lunge at dogs passing his kennel.
6/29/26: Intake notes state he was found roaming a gated community.

💙 Javonte is a handsome young Husky who is affectionate and easy to handle with people, greeting staff with a wagging tail, relaxed body language, and walking nicely on leash. The stress of the shelter has caused him to become temporarily reactive toward other dogs, but his behavior with people remains friendly and social. He needs a foster or adopter who can give him the calm environment he deserves before the shelter costs him his life.

- Healthy 2-year-old neutered male weighing 51.0 lbs.
- Medical exam was normal with no significant health concerns noted.
- Received DA2PP-V, Bordetella, Rabies, dewormer, heartworm test (negative), Pyrantel, and Advantage Multi.
- No ongoing medical treatment documented.
