📝 Shelter Notes:
7/6/26: Juno walked on a loose leash to and from the runs, paid little attention to other dogs, kept his kennel clean overnight, and warmed up for head scratches with a gently wagging tail.
7/3/26: Greeted staff at his kennel door with a relaxed body, slow wagging tail, and soft open mouth. Walked calmly on a loose leash and entered/exited the kennel without issue.
6/29/26: Very easy to leash. Walked with a loose leash, relaxed body, soft facial expression, accepted affection, and happily wagged his tail during baby talk.
6/25/26: Displayed a neutral body, low wagging tail, and soft mouth. Walked calmly on a loose leash in and out of the building.
6/24/26: Initially timid with a lowered body and head, but once outside he relaxed, loosened his body language, and walked with a smiling mouth and wagging tail.
6/23/26: Greeted staff with a loose body, swaying tail, and soft expression. Gentle on leash and calm and quiet in his kennel.
6/22/26: Quiet in his kennel overnight. Easy to leash, walked calmly on a loose leash, and showed little interest in other dogs.
6/15/26 (Intake): Stray dog brought to the clinic.
💙 Juno is a gentle, quiet German Shepherd mix who simply needs a little time to feel comfortable. While he can be shy at first, every evaluation shows him relaxing into a friendly, affectionate dog who enjoys gentle attention, walks beautifully on leash, keeps his kennel clean, and has consistently ignored other dogs. He deserves a patient family who will give him the chance to blossom outside the shelter instead of losing his life there.

- Received DA2PP-V, Rabies, Bordetella, dewormer, parasite prevention, and DA2PP booster.
- Mild shoulder tranquilization noted during intake procedures; no ongoing issues documented.
