🩺 Medical Notes:
Morena is heartworm positive, a treatable condition. She is currently being treated for an upper respiratory infection (CIRD) after developing a hacking cough with phlegm and is receiving Doxycycline for 10 days. At intake, she also had a dart wound to her right shoulder from animal control capture, which has since been addressed.

🐾Behavior Notes:
Morena was easy to leash, walked calmly on a loose leash, and greeted staff with a soft, relaxed expression. She was quiet in her kennel and only briefly vocalized at another passing dog. More recently, she may sometimes react toward dogs passing directly in front of her kennel. Morena has shown she is cooperative and gentle with people when outside that environment.
