07/25/2026 1 of 2 in kennel Dog is stressed in kennel upon approach with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a tucked tail. He displays sociability with me by coming over to greet with a tense body, wide eyes, pinned ears and a low wagging tail and is easy to leash where he freezes once leash. He is easy to prompt out of kennel and outside by walking behind him where he walks with an unusual gait. Once outside he pulls to the end of leash with a tense body, wide eyes making direct eye contact, pinned ears and a tucked tail seemingly to retreat away from me. He is easy to pick up and carry to yard utilizing defensive handling technique. In yard, he is able to adjust and displays sociability with other handlers by coming over to greet where he is interested in treats with a tense body, pinned ears and a low wagging tail. He displays sociability with dogs at barrier by greeting appropriately with a loose body and a wagging tail. While returning to kennel, he retreats to end of leash with a tense body, wide eyes making direct eye contact, pinned ears and a tucked tail and is carried back to kennel utilizing defensive handling technique.
