Nino Bell is at risk due to behavioral reasons. It was reported that while in his crate, in his previous home, Nino Bell was lunging and snapping towards the neighbor that was trying to feed him. While in care, Nino Bell has been observed to have a low threshold for arousal when handlers interact with him. During his assessment, Nino Bell was observed to jump up on handlers frequently and wrap his front paw around them as if to begin mounting. Nino has also been observed to jump up high and bite the leash. During one instance he almost caught the handler's hand. While out on the street, Nino will check in with the handler and have soft eyes. Medically, Nino Bell has CIRDC.

Nino Bell arrived at MACC after being picked up by field. It was reported that while in his crate Nino Bell was lunging and snapping towards the neighbor that was trying to feed him. While in care, Nino Bell has been observed to be fearful of handling and have a low threshold for arousal when handlers interact with him. During his assessment, Nino Bell was observed to jump up on handlers frequently and wrap his front paw around the handler as if to begin mounting. During handling, Nino Bell was noted to head whip persistently. Due to the detailed behavior, we recommend an experienced adult only home.
